For over 100 years the Hertrich name has been synonymous with growth in the automotive industry.  From Frederick W. Hertrich's modest immigrant beginnings in 1903 as a Gear-maker, then Engineer for Buick, Hertrich's has grown into "One of the top 100 Dealer Groups in the United States" (Ward's Automotive).  Today the Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is Delmarva's largest family owned group of automobile dealerships.  With eight dealerships in three states, fifteen new car franchises and over 500 employees the Hertrich Family of Dealerships is still exploring new possibilities.  Both third and fourth generation family members are actively leading Hertrich's into a bright future.  From our inception, the company philosophy has been simply to "Sell cars; Satisfy customers", with the emphasis always on the customer's needs.  We are extremely proud of our strong group of Employees which form the backbone of the Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships.  They are committed to the company philosophy of selling cars and satisfying customer's needs. 

Currently, the Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships consists of 8 locations.  From north to south: All American Chevrolet, Middletown, New Jersey.  Hertrich's Capitol has just opened a brand new sales and service center on seven acres in Dover, Delaware.  This 41,000 square foot dealership replaces the existing Hertrich's Capitol Lincoln Mercury, Mazda, Isuzu & Suzuki store at the same expanded location on Route 13, Dover.  Hertrich Nissan Jeep, Dover, Delaware.  In January of 2007 Hertrich's moved into a 23 acre state of the art dealership complex on Route 1, just north of Milford, Delaware offering customers dramatic and comfortable surroundings, unmatched selection of Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Toyota, Scion and Pre-Owned vehicles, and unequalled service.  It is the largest facility on the eastern shore.   We are also in the process of planning another new facility in Denton, Maryland, adjacent to the newly acquired Wayside Body Shop, the premier body shop on the Peninsula.  This expanded, new construction will replace the existing Hertrich Chevy Dodge building in Denton, and is slated to be in operation by 2008.  Finishing off our most southern locations to date are Hertrich's Frederick Ford Mercury, and Hertrich Pontiac, Buick, GMC & Isuzu on route 13 just south of Seaford, Delaware.
